Project Technology: Squarespace

Squarespace is a user-friendly hosted site-building tool that provides attractive, responsive web templates and an easy-to-use editing interface that allows non-technical users (with a little bit of patience) to build striking, usable, mobile-friendly websites (including limited but elegant e-commerce functionality). While any service like Squarespace has limitations (compared to a more versatile but significantly more complex platform like Drupal), for an organization with straightforward needs the platform can provide good results.  Giant Rabbit provides Squarespace support for the following clients:

Sam Misner and Megan Smith are a musicical duo who tour their own brand of neo-folk music both at home and abroad. We helped them put together a Squarespace site.

SIRIUS is the original puppy school, offering training courses to cultivate pups into safe and stellar dogs--through training that is effective, fun, and inclusive of the whole family.  James and Kenneth Publishers is their online store. We designed their Drupal site (look at the puppies! thanks, illustrator R. Black).

The Y & H Soda Foundation is a grantmaker that works to build economic security, support community organizing and nonprofit sector development in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. We helped the Soda Foundation choose the right platform for their web needs (Squarespace). We then rearchitected, designed and configured their new look, which shines a spotlight on their grantees.
