Project Technology: CiviCRM

CiviCRM is an open-source CRM by and for non-profits. It provides a broad range of features allowing organizations to keep track of their interactions with their constituents, segment and send mailings, accept donations, manage memberships, sell tickets to events, and more. Giant Rabbit is proud to be a Founding Partner of CiviCRM. We provide a full range of services, from initial strategy and planning to data migration to implementation, training, feature development, support, and maintenance.

Giant Rabbit provides CiviCRM support or development services for the following clients:

We recently architected, designed and built a new modular web site for them, along with an updated class registration system. We also have worked with them for the past few years to produce online annual reports (see herehere, here, and here).

Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools. They provide free copyright licenses to give creative people simple, standard ways to grant permission to the public to share and use their work. We provided support for Creative Commons' Development department by setting up custom integrations between their website and their CiviCRM instance.

The mission of the Edible Schoolyard Project is to build and share a national edible education curriculum for pre-kindergarten through high school. They support the creation, growth, and enrichment of the edible education field. The website maps the movement and enables educators and volunteers from thousands of programs across the country and around the world to exchange ideas and best practices. We built their current Drupal-based website, and we provide ongoing design, support, and feature development, as well as CiviCRM support and fundraising consulting for their operations team.

Ignited, formerly Industry Initiatives for Science and Math Education (IISME), promotes a partnership between industry and the education system by placing qualified math and science teachers in high-performance summer work projects that provide income, practical experience, laboratory skills, and access to a broader professional community. The system made heavy use of Drupal Rules to automate and streamline the process. We also provide ongoing development, maintenance and support.

They support a network of local grassroots abortion funds that help women overcome obstacles that might otherwise prevent them from getting access to abortion care.
